Hmmm... Now I'm wondering if my main jet is really 155. I got that number from the Clymer manual (that of course is horribly out of date). I have a 96 which I'm thinking is more like your 99 than the 86-88 models described in the Clymer manual. Does anyone know what the 96 Savage main jet needle size is?
